How to use eva edge banding hot melt adhesive

1. Communicate your requirements (bonding boards, edge banding materials, machine edge banding speed, glue melting temperature and final strength, etc.) with your EVA edge banding glue supplier and provide the correct edge banding hot melt adhesive for trial.
2. Put the glue into the glue pot and melt it to the specified temperature. After the edge banding machine temperature panel shows that the temperature has been reached, the glue will flow to the glue roller that has been adjusted to the optimal glue coating amount (the board can just pass through the glue coating shaft).
3. The surface of the board will be coated with glue, the edge banding material will also pass through at the same time, and the pressure roller will make the board, glue and edge banding material closely contact each other, and then trim and polish them.
4. The glue will gradually cool, the edge of the board will bond with the material, and the edge banding process is complete..

1.  The moisture content of wood should be controlled at 8-12%, and the surface of the base material should be flat, smooth and not warped.
2.  Keep the glue tank clean. During normal use, if the amount of glue is less than half, you need to add glue particles in time.
3. When the colloid melts to the point where there are no particles, the equipment can be adjusted; after the glue temperature is stable, the temperature measurement equipment can be used to check the temperature and make adjustments based on the actual temperature. Check the temperature of the glue coating wheel and adjust it to ensure normal glue flow.
4. When the actual temperature of the colloid drops by more than 5°C during use, the corresponding temperature of the equipment needs to be increased; when the amount of glue used is large and the melting speed is insufficient, the equipment temperature can be appropriately increased to supplement it, but intermittent production is required.
