Reasons for bubbles and warping after using glue for speaker PVC film

As a green and environmentally friendly adhesive, water-based speaker glue is often used by speaker manufacturers. It is mainly used to bond PVC materials such as PVC film, PP film, imitation leather, and other boards such as density board and particle board.

Glue for speaker PVC film

When some manufacturers use glue for speakers, due to their carelessness in operation, it will cause bubbles and warping after the board is laminated. Below, we will share with you the reasons for bubbles and warping after using speaker glue:

Upturned edge

1. The moisture content of the bonded board (normal range is 8-12%) is too high or too low

Board moisture content

2. After applying the glue to the speaker PVC film, the time of applying pressure is too short

3. If the hot press glue coating process is used, the temperature is too low or too high

4. The applied pressure is too low, which will cause bubbles in irregular positions and thick glue film in some places

5. The surface of the bonded board has not been polished and polished

6. The amount of glue applied is too low, resulting in no glue in some areas of the board

Gluing

7. After the glue is opened, the seal is improper, resulting in the entry of oily substances or other impurities into the glue

8. The opening time is too long (the interval between glue application and pressure application is too long, resulting in glue dry film)

9. Uneven glue coating, resulting in no glue in some areas of the board

Apply pressure

10. The board surface is contaminated by dust or oily substances

11. The dyne value of the leather is too low, and the glue cannot be adsorbed on the leather surface

12. The operating environment temperature is too high, resulting in the premature curing of the speaker PVC film glue

13. The operating environment humidity is too low and the air circulation is too fast, resulting in the premature curing of the glue

14. The ambient temperature and material temperature of the operating site are too low (below 15°C), resulting in too slow curing of the glue

thermometer

15. The natural curing time is too short, and the product enters the testing phase too early

16. The bonded boards and materials do not match the adhesive

17. The viscosity of the adhesive is too low or too high, which is not suitable for the glue coating process

Sound equipment

The above 17 situations are the main reasons why products experience bubbling and warping after using speaker glue in the process of serving customers. You can troubleshoot these problems one by one.
