What is sintered stone adhesive?

Sintered stone adhesive is a high-strength structural bonding adhesive designed specifically for joining sintered stone (also called porcelain slabs or ultra-compact surfaces) with other materials such as wood, metal, MDF, plywood, or stone.

Sintered stone is extremely dense and non-porous, which means ordinary glues (like white glue, PVA, or standard construction adhesive) cannot penetrate or form a strong bond. Sintered stone adhesive is engineered to solve this problem by providing high adhesion, durability, and resistance to stress and temperature changes.

Sintered stone furniture adhesive application notes

1. The bonding interface of sintered stone veneer must be cleaned first, kept dry and free of putty.
2. Prepare a soft glue gun, cut the glue film nozzle with a blade, and install the sintered stone veneer glue into the glue gun.
3. The construction personnel use a smooth and constant pressure squeezing glue gun to apply glue to the surface of the sintered stone by dot coating or scraping.
4. After the glue application is completed, the construction personnel will smoothly bond the sintered stone to the ground or facade of the material and press it for about 2 minutes.
5. The glue coating temperature is between 15°C and 45°C. When the ambient temperature is low, the extrusion resistance increases, so the glue can be placed in a warm environment for insulation.
6. The curing speed of the glue is related to the temperature and humidity of the environment. Curing is accelerated in high temperature and high humidity environments, while low temperature and low humidity will delay the process. The final curing time is also related to the thickness of the glue accumulation.
